TWO TYPES OF ACCESS OPTIONS FOR MEMBERS

WHO WILL BECOME MEMBERSHIP?

Being a member means that you will be independent on your work, you will respect all the regulations and safety measurements set by the management. 

You will have an allocated shelf, where you will store your work, tools and clay. Once your pieces are fired, we will place them on your shelf. The management is not responsible for any pieces, tools or clay left unattended in the studio.

We provide the space, free teas and coffees, some snacks (cookies and candies)

You will need to follow the studio members' policy, respect other members by being discrete, and to respect the opening and closing timing of the studio, meaning you need to pack 20mn before we close as the cleaner needs to clean the space for the following day.

 No one is allowed to enter the kiln room, unless the studio technicians in the studio. Please ask for assistance by the reception, if you need any information about the kiln firing schedule.

Having a membership means you can only fire your own pieces, if any part of your family have done pieces at home, you will need to pay for the extra pieces in order to fire them.

Associate Membership

If you cannot come everyday to the studio, you can purchase 5 or 10 days member associate, where you will visit the studio 5 or 10 times, valid for 2 months.

Discounts

Membership and Day pass is not available to persons without beginner level knowledge in pottery. Please visit our classes page and sign on to any of our intensive workshops or classes packages.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR MEMBERS

We need your cooperation for you to relax and enjoy your work at the studio. In courtesy of others, keep your phone silent, and speak quietly with your friend. You can only take a video of yourself and your work, our members privacy is important.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES

    Ask for assistance if you are using a machine and not sure how it works.

    • Ask for assistance if you need to use the dipping low fire glaze provided by the studio

    • Cleaning is necessary after your visit. You must begin clean up in ample time to be out of the studio by the time the studio is scheduled to close.

    • Tables should be wet wiped. Do not leave tools or equipment in sink area. Do not leave your work on the tables, they should be stored in your designated storage space. If your piece is big, speak to the instructor or receptionist to help you find a space for it. We are not responsible of left work uncovered, or touched by others. 

    • If you wish to sand your pieces, please sand them outside if greenware. If bisqued, please sand them wet.

    • As a member, you can only fire your own pieces, not relatives' pieces made at home. If you wish to, you can pay extra charge for those pieces. Clay and glazes must be bought at the studio. Please beware that we want to avoid any kiln accident and postpone other members' work.

    • Your friend is more than welcome to come and see you at the studio, therefore, you will need to sit together in the seating area at the reception. Most clients want a relaxed environment to create and unwind. If your friend is interested in joining a class, he/she is welcome to book a class in advance. If your friend is comfortable doing pottery, he/she is welcome to purchase a day pass to spend some time at the studio with you. We will provide him/her with some recycled clay to work with. If he/she wishes to fire his/her pieces, there will be an extra charge.

    • We have special timings for the children to come in the studio and do a workshop, children are also welcome during the family events, not in any other time. 

  • Terms and Conditions

    1. You have to be 16 years old or older to be a member.
    2. Cash or cards are both acceptable payment methods at Yadawei.
    3. Fees are non-refundable.
    4. Membership is non-transferable.
