Teapot Making Workshop

Teapots are usually made with a potter's wheel, but this advanced class will teach you how to handbuild a functional teapot.

This workshop will cover advanced techniques for getting clear, even and repeatable glazing results on the inside of your pots. You'll go through the whole process from gathering the materials and tools needed to create your teapot up to firing the teapot in the kiln. You will use both raku (soda ash, salt) and traditional (cone 02) glazes.

We'll also fire up the mulit-colored decals using our state-of-the-art equipment (digital heating blanket, laser projector and laser cutter) for modern design twist.
